Loxton Lights Festival 2012 celebrates the 21st anniversary of the Loxton Christmas Lights Festival and will be a combination of activities, displays and festivities presented in colourful and exciting experiences. Throughout the 5 week program, running from the last Saturday in November until New Years Eve, hundreds of cars and many coach loads of visitors tour the streets to experience the delights of Santa’s Walk, Christmas Wonderland, Singing Christmas Tree, Christmas Tree Festival, Big Santa and other light displays throughout the township. Loxton's Mardi Gras & Nippy's The Mardi Gras is a family fun day, with money raised going towards community projects. Most years the event raises over $20,000. Highlights on the Saturday include a pageant of 60 to 70 floats, bands, the crowning of the ambassadors and from 5pm, the Nippy's Loxton Gift which is an exciting program featuring top SA and interstate professional athletes. Sunday includes a combined Church Service, various displays, and the Apex Fisharama.

'Alive Days' The Village is a treasure trove of memories, experiences and exhibits from an era past. It captures the development of a typical rural community with over 45 buildings, each telling a unique story of the struggle and heartache of the pioneers who dared tame the "outback". The Village is open 7 days a week with 3 'Alive Days' held throughout the year. The 'Alive Days' are a great fun day for the whole family commencing at 11am. A variety of activities

Loxton's Annual Spring Show Loxton's Annual Spring Show is a great weekend of fun for the whole family. It features a variety of attractions and entertainment such as an animal nursery, an array of exhibits in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, vegetables, amateur wine making and brewing. The traditional show favourites are not forgotten with log chopping, sheaf tossing, horses-in-action and the ever popular side show alley.
